Girl's Day

Girl's Day covers 2NE1, Girls' Generation, Kara, and Wonder Girls.

To promote their recent comeback, Girl's Day is covering some K-pop's best and brightest girl group hits on SBS.
On July 23, SBS MTV aired Girl's Day's first solo concert as a special for the program, "The Show."
"Girl's Day's first solo concert held at AX Korea on the 13th will be aired exclusively as a special on SBS MTV's 'The Show' on the 22nd at 6PM KST," said Girl's Day's record label DreamT Entertainment.
During the concert, Girl's Day performed some of their biggest hits to date, including "Female President, "Twinkle Twinkle," "Expectation," "Something," as well as their latest summer single, "Darling."
But in addition, Girl's Day also performed a compilation of songs from other girl groups, including "I Am the Best" by 2NE1, "Gee" by Girls' Generation, "Mister" by Kara, and "Nobody" by Wonder Girls.
"Everything was fine except 'I Am the Best," commented Bobby Kim on YouTube. "Minah looks like she's using autotune."
"It's good that they were trying to do things differently but in my opinion I think it's best if they stuck with their own music," wrote 1001wing.
"There will come a time when other girl groups will cover their songs," added susi02. "Keep thriving Girl's Day."
The concert special will next be seen in Japan on TBS on July 25.
On July 4, Girl's Day released the music video for their latest single, "Darling," to celebrate their 4-year anniversary. After one week, the video has garnered over 3 million views on YouTube. This single has been the group's most successful track yet, topping eight major music charts in Korea, including Melon, Bugs, Olleh, Soribada, Genie, Naver, Daum and Monkey 3.
